NAR policy
changes prohibit local MLSs from including certain services in their Standard MLS service offering.
NAR’s policy specifically excludes from Standard MLS "services that are not substantially related to the function of a MLS," as defined by NAR. The services impacted by this policy change include the Client Experience Rating, agent websites and other advertising related tools developed by HAR.
These changes will allow HAR to provide enhanced MLS services for those subscribers who choose to pay for them, while continuing to provide an affordable plan for those who choose not to pay for enhanced, optional services.
